Ron Nelson

Ron has been a member of the club since 1975. In February 2008, he became an Associate Member when he relocated to Oklahoma. His club car is a 1932 Ford Roadster, which he purchased in 1961.  He also owns a 1940 Ford Pickup.

Ron has held the office of Vice President, People’s Voice, R&R coordinator and Roadster Roundup Chairman.

Ron is married, his wife is Patty.  He has two sons and Patty has one daughter.  They have two grandchildren and three year old Barney, the family dog.

Ron is retired from Southern California Edison. Patty is still working as an Executive Assistant.

Ron's been busy totally updating the roadster. He has done a frame off restoration of the car. It's still a work in progress - but lookin' good! The pictures show the car before and now during the restoration. Pictures will be posted when finished.

His hobbies include building hot rods, collecting die cast cars and his wife Patty.
