Mel Taormino

Mel has been an associate member of the club since 2002. His club car is a 1929 Ford Roadster Pick Up.

Mel has been married to wife Joyce for 42 years.  They have two sons (Steve and Jim) and two grand daughters (Emily and Megan).  Steve is married to wife Rebecca.

Both Mel and Joyce are retired and enjoying the good life, along wth their two year old lab Haley.

Mel’s hobbies include collecting cars, tractors, old gas memorabilia, and hunting.  He’s been into hot rodding since he was a 10 year old kid. 

The other collector cars he owns are:   1934 Ford Phaeton, 1934 Ford Cabriolet, 1934 Ford 2-door Sedan, 1932 Ford 5-window Coupe, original 1968 Shelby GT500 Convertible and many more.

What it means to be a member of the L. A. Roadsters:  The highlight of my hot rod years.  Very proud to be a member.
