Jeff
Tann He has held the office of Secretary for a number of years, also Show Chairman in 2006 and Assistant Show Chairman in 2007. Jeff has been married to wife Vickie for 34 years. Their kids are of the four-legged variety (Mocha, Abby and Daisy). Jeff is a photo-journalist for Buckaroo Communications writing for six of their automotive magazines (primarily contributing to Street Rod Builder, Super Rod and American Rodder Magazines). Jeff was also the former editor for Rod & Custom Magazine for nine years and Muscle Car Classics Magazine for four years. He’s also been on the editorial staff for Hot Rod and Popular Hot Rodding Magazines. Jeff’s jealous, he still has to work while Vickie retired in March 2007 from Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as a Management Analyst. Someone has to work in the family to support his expensive hobby! Jeff’s hobbies include cars, all kinds of cars. His love of cars started when he was just a toddler and has flourished since. He enjoys building and restoring cars in his home hobby shop. He does all the work on his cars, except the interiors. He currently owns 12 cars, two of them are projects. Jeff has owned the 1928 Model A Coupe since 1967 when him and Vickie started going steady. He purchased the car for $450 from Club Member, Larry Ready. Jeff will never part with the car - she’s a keeper – just like Vickie! What it means to be a member of the L. A. Roadsters: Being part of the greatest club on the face of the earth. Great cars and people. It’s a privilege to be part of hot rodding history.
